A UNIQUE DISCOVERY

Rums from Trinidad are renowned for their light-bodied and delicate character, a natural sweetness and a smooth finish.

Cask No. 1, Rotation R1023 is everything you would want and more from a Trinidad rum. Full of tropical fruity tones, sweet caramel and smoky tobacco flavours.

This rum was distilled in 2012 by Trinidad Distillers, the sole remaining distillery on the island of Trinidad. It aged in the warm humidity in ex-Bourbon Whiskey casks for nine years. Before being bottled by House of Rum in 2023, it was aged for a further three years in the UK’s more temperate climate.

DISTILLERY

Trinidad Distillers Ltd was established in 1948 in Laventille, Trinidad, as the manufacturing hub for Angostura Bitters.

Since then, it has been producing a wide array of rums, bitters, and liqueurs under the Angostura and, from the 1970s onwards, Fernandes brands.

Following the closure of the iconic Caroni in 2003, TDL stands as the sole rum distillery in Trinidad.
